Warm nights, beach trips and holiday visitors make summer the busiest parasite season. Keep prevention on schedule and tidy the places pets sleep and ride so fleas and ticks do not get a foothold.
Dose a few days before road trips so protection is active on arrival
Rinse salt, sand and river mud, then towel dry to the skin
Add a two minute tick check after bush tracks and coastal scrub
Vacuum rugs, skirting and sofa seams and empty the vacuum outside. Hot wash bedding and favourite blankets and dry thoroughly. Shake out car mats after weekend adventures.
Ask that visiting pets are up to date with prevention. After busy weekends, run a quick vacuum and bedding wash to reset the house.
