School holidays change bedtimes, add beach days and bring extra visitors. A few small tweaks keep pets protected even when the calendar gets busy.
Tie dose day to a fixed moment in the break, like the first Saturday or the day before you leave. Set a phone reminder and place product packs with travel gear or leads so you see them.
Pack the next dose if it falls mid-trip, a tick tool, a spare bed cover and a small towel. Shake out car rugs after beach or bush stops and let them dry in the sun. If your pet stays with family, send the pack and written date.
Visitor checklist
Ask that visiting pets are up to date
Keep bowls clean and food sealed
Vacuum shared rugs at the end of the week and empty the vacuum outside
Wash bedding hot, vacuum the car and note the next due date on the box. Keep prevention steady while any hitchhiker stages clear.
