Gentle routine that helps
Keep baths lukewarm and short. Use a mild, vet-approved shampoo and rinse very well. Dry the coat fully before bed. Brush out loose hair around the tail base where flea dirt collects. Vacuum rugs and the car weekly and hot wash bedding, then dry thoroughly.
If fleas are visible

Dose every dog using the correct weight band

Vacuum daily for a week, then weekly for three months

When to talk to your vet
If your dog is chewing persistently, has hot spots, hair loss or any reaction after a dose, call your clinic. Short term anti-itch care can break the itch cycle while prevention does the heavy lifting.

A short flare can happen if existing fleas keep emerging. If the skin looks red, oozy or painful, speak to your vet.
Can I bathe the same day as a dose
Chews are fine with baths. If you use a collar, keep it on as directed.
