Advantage® Spot-On for Dogs – Flea & Lice Treatment (NZ)

Advantage® Spot-On for Dogs is a topical flea and lice treatment registered for use in New Zealand. It is applied directly to the skin and is used for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations in dogs.

Formulated with imidacloprid, Advantage works by contact to control fleas on dogs and helps reduce flea larvae in the pet’s surroundings.

    What Advantage® for Dogs Treats
    • Treats and prevents flea infestations (Ctenocephalides spp.) on dogs

    • Kills adult fleas on dogs

    • Kills flea larvae in the dog’s surroundings following contact with a treated dog

    • Treats lice on dogs

    • Can be used as part of a flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) management programme

    How Advantage® Works

Advantage® contains 100 g/L imidacloprid. The active ingredient acts by contact, meaning fleas do not need to bite to be affected. Fleas are exposed through contact with the dog’s skin and coat, helping to break the flea life cycle.

    Duration of Protection
    • One application lasts up to 4 weeks on dogs

    • New fleas may continue to emerge from the environment for several weeks after treatment begins

Advantage may be reapplied between 2 and 4 weeks if required, in accordance with the label.

    Suitable for Dogs
    • Puppies and dogs from the appropriate minimum weight

    • Safe for use on pregnant and lactating dogs when used as directed

Select the correct pack size based on your dog’s body weight.
